St. Paul Summer Jazz Band (mostly high school students of St. Agnes)

***Please mention the instrument your child will play in the comment area. Thank you

Hi everyone,

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Steve Truran. I teach brass and jazz band at several twin city schools (including St. Agnes) and I’m the husband of the St. Agnes elementary teacher – Mary Truran. I’m contacting you about playing in a summer jazz band. This is a great way to keep up your playing skills in the summer. If you are not familiar with what a jazz band is, think of a rock-and-roll band with saxes, trumpets, and trombones. We will play jazz, rock-and-roll, and latin music which is why it will probably be the most enjoyable playing experience you will ever have. This band is also welcome to non-St. Agnes students.
Here are the details:

When: Thursdays from 9:30-10:30 am
June 20, 27
July 11, 18, 25
August 8, 15 , 21 (Wednesday performance at 6:00 with other bands)
Where:  St. Anne’s Church, Sunfish Lake (on Hwy 110 and Charleton Street). See attached map.
Cost: $128. Pay by checkk or credit card (by clicking below).
Other details:
*Attendance is flexible. Don’t worry if you need to miss for vacations, camps, etc.
*Bring your own instrument. Piano and drumset will be provided.
Anyway, click below to sign-up or email me back to let me know and pay by check.
Thanks everyone. It’s going to be a great summer!
Bye for now,
Steve Truran
